I am very excited to run a 5k with my daughter Joelle on the 5th of June. Joelle has been working hard and I watched her finish her practice run without panting for breath last week! So ever since, I have been working hard myself so I will be able to finish gracefully with her. The reason I am doing this is because I recently listening to  K-love and was inspired by a 7 year old running for a cause. I know my motives for running was for personal interest (now I have repented and I have goton the right track :)! ) So now, Joelle and I want to run for a cause as well. A good cause to help raise money for wheelchairs for the handicapped in India.

proVISION ASIA, is an organization in India that works among the disabled people. They are a christian organization that provide free mobilty aids to the differently abled and my sister worked with them. Their website is provisionasia.com.

Coincidentally they also have a marathon event on the same day in India and they are raising money for wheelchairs and we want to help support them financially. If you are interested to do the same would you please consider donating 5$ ( since its a 5k) or how much ever you feel like you could contribute at this time to help provide bring mobility and independance to people in India.

    What an incredible encouragement for all the team of proVISION ASIA you are, Joelle and Pam! When we grow tired of running or pushing the wheelchairs in Bangalore, we’ll be renewed as we remember that you both will be running on the other side of the world with us. And together we can help transform the lives of our friends in India who are disabled !!

    Awesome! This truly a noble act to see lives changed around us. I support and endorse this move and I know that many more lives will be touched as you run the good race. We will remember you two on the 5th as you run with grace, love & hope for a better future. Our Lord Jesus is your reward…
