Physiotherapy Walkathon

19. September 2011 General 2
At the start line!

The Walk-A-Thon was organized by the Bangalore Physiotherapy Network (BPN). This was an event to bring physiotherapists and their beneficiaries  together, creating an awareness about health.

Physiotherapy as a whole is a vast subject and caters to different fields such as Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Neurology, Geriatrics and Disability. Therefore we at proVISION ASIA, who empower the physically challenged represented the differently abled community at this platform, as physiotherapy plays an important role in making an individual independent.

10 wheelchair participants + 10 enthusiastic volunteers pushing the wheelchairs for 3.5 km= An amazing experience to create an awareness about being healthy.

Jared and Shobha pushing Manju and Ramu.
