Story of the Week!

Abdul Wahab is 32 years old, he met with an accident in the year 2006 and lost both his lower limbs. He is a very active person, involved in business and has traveled to many countries.

 Life changed unexpectedly one day; he was running to catch the a moving train, he lost control and ended up under the wheels of the train. Both legs were completely crushed. He was soon rushed to a to nearby hospital, where he underwent an above knee amputation.

 He is very independent not expecting any help from his well settled family. Presently, he is living alone in a small rented room and heads a small mobile recharge unit and is very self sufficient as he lives off the profit he makes.

 Last week, he visited our centre and we provided him with the gift of mobility. He now has a wheelchair to run around for his business. It is just amazing to see this person who overcame so many obstacles and still has the courage to face his future with independence.
