November PlayGroup

The band stand at Coles Park was packed Saturday morning, much to our delight! 32 children with disabilities came along with their families to sing songs, listen to a story, make paper baskets and enjoy a snack. It was a special PlayGroup because one of our volunteers led a workshop for parents: ‘Increasing independence of their disabled child.’ After the workshop, the parents practiced skills they learned by doing a coloring task with their children. All of the parents did a great job, they were obviously paying attention!
