4 Medals at the Paralympics 2016!

Numerous athletes are representing India in Rio in the 2016 Paralympics. 4 medals have already been won!

1 Gold: Devendra Jhajharia in Men’s Javelin Throw (who also happens to be the first Indian to win two gold medals at the Paralympics after he broke his own world record)

1 Gold: Mariyappan Thangavelu in Men’s High Jump

1 Bronze: Varun Singh Bhati in Men’s High Jump

1 Silver: Deepa Malik in Women’s Shot Put (who also happens to be the first Indian female Paralympian to win a medal at the Games)
